Abstract

The present work intends to compile the history of the Entrance Course of the Universidad Nacional de La Matanza, one of the areas that has grown the most since the institution was created in 1989. Among these lines we affirm as a founding premise that the space dedicated to applicants for Income is impregnated with trajectory, accounts for the exponential enrollment growth of its students, evidence that what institutional mission of maintaining a cultural educational project committed to the demands of the community can become reality, and is a current reflection of the educational vision that the University supports: being a model of excellence in the national university system. The proposal is to review, in what an entry matter respects the incipient steps of the leveling course, the implementation of the entry course, the subsequent modifications made until reaching the present time and synthesizing, from the word of students who They went through this stage, the experiences that forged unforgettable memories. It is our intention to demonstrate that the admission instance is a space that involves the work of the educational institution as a whole, nourishes its reality and allows to strengthen student trajectories. For these reasons, among these lines we maintain that: the resulting admission course can be a protagonist in the university scene that in 1991 began to operate with 1200 entries and today, 30 years after its creation, receives more than 25,600 annually applicants for university admission.
