Thematic magazine Thirty years of the University. Call closed.

It was included in publication 5 (vol. 3, n ° 1) that was uploaded on June 20, 2019. This thematic dossier was presented in the framework of the activities planned to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the creation of the Universidad Nacional de La Matanza and commemorate the 20 years of the Junta de Estudios Históricos de La Matanza. It was postulated as an invitation to reflect on our university, as a socio-historical construct in a space that can be perceived as a condenser of multiple senses. Work was invited to explore the physical and institutional form of the Universidad Nacional de La Matanza as an inscription surface for various practices and actions. On the one hand, the industrial heritage traces are recognized in its present, so it was encouraged to postulate texts in which the object of study was its manufacturing past, either from its materiality or from the daily work of the workers. On the other hand, it is understood that the current university institutional framework of La Matanza is the product of a collective and situated construction, for which reason it was invited to historicize its departments and careers, its extension and research activities, as a result of interventions and actions , and of particular and collective actors. Finally, the emergence and maintenance of the Universidad Nacional de La Matanza was framed within public policies of higher education and state agendas, so it was called to present works that reflect on it, expanding the object of study to other higher institutions and its historical trajectories, with comparative intentions and exploring shared experiences and interaction.
